What's in a Name?
On January 7, 1610, Galileo Galilei was conducting observations of the planet Jupiter and discovered Io, a small spacial body near the larger gas giant. Noting over several days how Io seemed to disappear behind Jipiter, then reappear on the other side, Galileo concluded that it must be in orbit around the larger planet.
The demonstration of smaller planets orbiting larger planets disproved the previously held geocentric model of the universe, the supposition that the sun and all other planets were held in orbit around the earth. It was a controversial claim, but also a truth that helped broaden our understanding of the world around us.
In much the same way, Io Data Corporation seeks to broaden our understanding of the markets in which we interact daily. Our aim is to explore, to discover, and to use our expertise to help individuals excel. Market research is the key to achieving success in any industry, and we want to be at the forefront of discovery.
